Emerald Clump Moss

This moss green moss is commonly found growing in tiny clumps In marshes, On trees, and In heathlands.
It is small, growing up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps and they are exceptionally hardy, and is extremely sturdy; it can easily endure flooding and draughts.
When mature, emerald triangular capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early winter to release hundred of spores.
