Coppergrass
Grass type: Biennial (Stores water in its leaves)This small, copper grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The oval-shaped stalks grow in thin clumps that are strong and tough and they are slow to spread and grow.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, yellow tuft.
During the late autumn, it produces very little pollen; it can cause allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a modest amount of tiny grains.
It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
The leaves have medicinal properties.
