Bluebell Moss

This faded blue moss is commonly found growing in small clumps In bogs, and On rotten logs.
It is short, growing up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. It forms in thick clumps, and is extremely resistant.
When mature, emerald teardrop-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-summer to release dozens of spores.
