Yellowbell

Succulent type: Caudiciform (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)

This modest-sized caudiciform grows up to 25 feet (7.6 meters) tall. The thin stem is yellow, and is covered in brittle cream spines. It has a curved, very thick, lime trunk atop a narrow web of cracked, exposed roots. The branches are narrow and emerald and are short, rigid and upright.

The irregular-edged, 2 pointed leaves are either hazel or copper, with deep green lines. They are rigid, but easily come away when pulled.

It is fast growing, taking 2 months to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with cyan petals on the lower layer and brown petals decorated with green dots on the inner layer. The central disk is azure grow at the top, reappearing once every 10 years. The flower head is shaped like a heart made up of several tightly layered, round-tipped petals. It has an overpowering scent that smells like sugar.

The caudiciform's skin is thin, the dark brown flesh is rubbery, and the silver sap is thin.


It is suitable for making strong rope
It actively smothers and kills off other plants.
