Brown Tuftgrass
Grass type: Perennial (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)This big, brown grass grows up to 6 feet (1.8 meters) tall. The very thick stalks grow in thick clumps that are strong and tough.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, hazel tuft.
During the mid-summer, it produces very little pollen, and after flowering, it is left with excessive amounts of small grains.
