Caramel Disk

This massive flower grows up to 10.5 feet (3.2 meters) tall. Its pink-red stem is thin, and the giant, yellow-green leaves are very thick with smooth edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.

Each stem splits 4 to 7 times; a single medium-sized flower grows at the end of each split. The flowers are 82 cm (32.3 inches) wide, with alternating petals of blue and cyan, with a caramel central disk. The flower head is shaped like a dish with 4 raised, round-tipped petals. They fall easily.

It has a scent whose strength depends on external factors, such as soil quality and rain frequency that smells like cheese, and it has an average amount of pollen. It is pollinated by the wind, but is also particularly attractive to butterflies.
