Grass type: Annual (Stores water in its leaves)

This modest-sized, brown grass grows up to 2 feet (61.0 cm) tall. The long, tapering stalks grow in thin clumps that are resilient.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, azure puff.

During the mid-autumn, it produces lots of pollen; it can can cause allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with lots of small grains.

It blooms only at night.
It is suitable for making paper
