Crimson Grass

Grass type: Annual (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This modest-sized, red grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The long, tapering stalks grow in small clumps that are resilient.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, dark grey flower.

During the early winter, it produces lots of pollen; it can can cause allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a modest amount of tiny grains.

The colour changes depends on whether the soil is acidic or alkaline.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
It grows well in the sun and full shade.
