Creamspine

This short caudiciform grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The sickle shaped stem is gray-green, and is covered in thick bunches of flexible cream spines. The twisting, cream trunk can grow to as much as 1 foot (30.5 cm) in diameter in the middle. Its silver branches trail down towards the ground and start growing halfway up the stem.

The handfuls of smooth-edged, thick leaves are white on the edges and vibrant green at the center. They are rigid, but do not detach easily.

It is quick growing, taking 3 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with blood red petals and a yellow center, grow at the top, reappearing once every 6 years. The flower head is shaped like a cube made up of dozens of tightly layered, round-tipped petals. It has the faintest scent that smells like freshly baked bread.

The caudiciform's skin is thick, the hazel flesh is rough, and the azure sap is thin.
