Sunset Vine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This big vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 374 feet (114.0 meters) and growing as high as 35 feet (10.7 meters).

It takes 16 months for the yellow-green stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 1.4 feet (43 cm) and are tough and woody.

The very narrow and elongated, smooth leaves reach up to 2.3 feet (69 cm) in length. They are found in washed-out orange, aquamarine and black varieties, and have serrated edges.

During late spring, the vine produces copious amounts of large light grey flowers, and during the mid-summer, after flowering, it produces a few tiny seed pods.

It is very rare outside of a particular area.
