Emerald-Violet Bine

Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This short bine is a fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 10 feet (3.0 meters) and growing as high as 70 feet (21.3 meters).

It takes 5 months for the yellow-green stems to mature, by which point they can reach a diameter of 2 cm (0.8 inches) and are smooth and rubbery.

The asymmetrical, fuzzy leaves reach up to 6 inches (15 cm) in length. They are a shade of emerald that gradient shifts to violet at the top, and have ripped edges.

It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
Once on fire, it burns very quickly.
It has impressive regenerative properties.
