Violetgrass

This large, brown grass grows up to 6 feet (1.8 meters) tall. The circular stalks grow in thick clumps that are durable.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, violet tuft.

During the mid-summer, it produces excessive amounts of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of medium-sized grains.
