Crimson Moss

This red moss is commonly found blanketing tiny areas In marshes, In moorlands, and In bogs.
It is modest-sized, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps, and is slightly flimsy; it burns easily in strong sunlight.
When mature, emerald heart-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release dozens of spores.
