Crimson Vine

This average-sized vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 37 feet (11.3 meters) and growing as high as 675 feet (205.7 meters).

It takes 19 months for the green stems to mature, by which point they can reach a diameter of 2 inches (5 cm) and are smooth and waxy.

The thick, smooth leaves reach up to 1.7 feet (51 cm) in length. They are sky blue on the sides and crimson at the center, and have jagged edges.

During late spring, the vine produces copious amounts of tiny lilac flowers, and during the late autumn, after flowering, it produces lots of very large fruits.
