Clinging Puffgrass

This small, yellow-green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The wide stalks grow in extensive patches that are flimsy and they overwhelm an area rapidly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, blue puff.

During the late autumn, it produces very little pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with plenty of giant grains.
