Turquoise

This short flower grows up to 4 inches (10 cm) tall. Its moss green stem is wispy and straight, and the small, lime green leaves are black on the underside and are perforated with toothed edges. A pair of leaves grow at the base of the stem.

Several giant flowers grow in a bunch at the end of the stem. The flowers are 1 cm (0.4 inches) wide, with alternating petals of turquoise and silver, with a bronze central disk. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 60 petals. They are hardy.

It has a powerful scent that smells like candle wax, and it has a modest amount of pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions. It is pollinated by insects and is visited by a large variety of them.
