Crimson Puffgrass

This average-sized, pink-red grass grows up to 2 feet (61.0 cm) tall. The 8 pointed stalks grow in thin clumps that are sturdy and flexible.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, olive puff.

During the early winter, it produces a modest amount of pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with lots of tiny grains.
