Coral Creeper

Climbing plant type: Creeper (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This modest-sized creeper is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 29 feet (8.8 meters) and growing as high as 474 feet (144.5 meters).

It takes 16 months for the orange stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 4 inches (10 cm) and are rough and fibrous.

The fan-like, leathery leaves reach up to 6 inches (15 cm) in length. They are peach at the bottom and vivid red with light grey lines at the top, and have smooth edges.
