Silvervine
Tree type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)This big tree grows up to 69 meters (226.4 feet) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 52 years old. It is very resistant to destructive insect infestation but susceptible to disease.
It has a thick, wonky trunk covered in thick, knobbly, burgundy and brown bark, and inside, the dense wood is silver.
The abundance of branches are tall, rigid and upright and are covered with copious amounts of leathery, large, long, tapering leaves with toothed edges. The leaves themselves are olive with silver tips.
In late summer it forms giant, sky blue berries.
The roots are long and grow straight down, and overall the tree is sturdy and difficult to uproot.
Forests of this species feature trees spaced far apart, with the space between them filled with thick undergrowth.
It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
The sap is washed-out blue.
A particular bird species likes to nest in it.
