Azurevine

Shrub type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This enormous shrub grows up to 13 feet (4.0 meters) tall and lives for around 47 years. It is very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has numerous stocky, angular stems covered in very thick, cracked, pine-coloured bark, and the wood inside is pale brown-grey.

The branches are short stubs with dozens of twigs that and are covered with copious amounts of small, asymmetrical, leaves with ripped edges. The leaves themselves are a shade of azure that gradient shifts to drab purple at the top, durable and fuzzy.

In late summer it produces many tiny, sky blue flowers with 2 oblong shaped petals. They detach easily and have a scent whose strength depends on external factors, such as soil quality and rain frequency that smells like coconut.

It is suitable for making baskets and the like
It is difficult to kill and will quickly regrow if it falls or if its limbs are knocked off.
