Aquamarine Blossom

This large flower grows up to 5.4 feet (1.7 meters) tall. Its emerald stems grow from the base of the plant in bunches of 5 and are very thick and straight, and split into several branching stems a quarter of the way up, and the miniature, silver leaves are light olive on the underside and are thin with tattered edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.

A single large flower sits at the end of each stem. The flowers are 19 cm (7.5 inches) wide, with petals that are caramel at the sides and azure at the center. The flower head is made up of 43 petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight cup. They are hardy.

It has a powerful scent that smells like sugar, and it has very little pollen, but can cause severe allergic reactions. It is pollinated by insects and is enjoyed by several specific types of insect.
