Magenta

This massive caudiciform grows up to 162 feet (49.4 meters) tall. The wispy stem is gray, and is dotted with small hazel spines. The thick, gnarled, black trunk can grow to as much as 162 feet (49.4 meters) in diameter. Its moss green branches are short stubs.

The smooth-edged, circular leaves are found in magenta and drab purple varieties. They are resilient, but detach easily.

It is fast growing, taking 7 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with petals that are purple on the underside and brilliant blue on the top, grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is made up of several petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight sphere. It has a strong scent that smells like cigarette smoke.

The caudiciform's skin is extremely thick, the aquamarine flesh is waxy, and the washed-out green sap is thin.
