Copper-colored

This big tree grows up to 76 meters (249.4 feet) tall and lives for over 3,000 years, with the oldest known specimen being around 3969 years old. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a thick, wavy trunk covered in thick, silky, dark green bark, and inside, the light wood is copper-coloured.

The small clumps of branches are short stubs, covered with sparse amounts of miniature, pink-red needles. The needles themselves are tough.

In late summer it produces small, black, shelled seeds.

The roots grow as a near perfect mirror of the tree above, and overall the tree is rigid and weak, and breaks apart easily.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together, with patches of undergrowth between them.
