Brown Creeper

This average-sized creeper is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 36 feet (11.0 meters) and growing as high as 764 feet (232.9 meters).

It takes 3 years for the brown stems to mature, by which point they can have a diameter of 2 inches (5 cm) and are flat and wavy.

The needle-like, waxy leaves reach up to 1.3 feet (38 cm) in length. They are yellow-green with brown tips, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces many small hazel flowers, and during the mid-summer, after flowering, it produces a modest amount of small seed pods.
