Turquoise Willow

This average-sized shrub grows up to 4 feet (1.2 meters) tall and lives for around 40 years. It is very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has many long and flexible, curved stems covered in fine, wrinkled, white with black speckled bark, and the wood inside is white.

The branches trail down towards the ground that and are covered with handfuls of miniature, fan-like, leaves with ripped edges. The leaves themselves are solid washed-out red or hazel, with turquoise edges, light and sticky.

It produces thousands of large, turquoise flowers with crescent-shaped petals with a bell-shaped floral cup. They are hardy and have a mildly strong scent that smells like candle wax. In mid-summer it forms largebrown berries.
