Amberleaf

This modest-sized shrub grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall and lives for around 17 years. It is not very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has numerous long and flexible, straight stems covered in delicate, cracked, white with black speckled bark, and the wood inside is burgundy-brown.

The branches trail down across the ground that and are covered with small bunches of giant, very thick, leaves with tattered edges. The leaves themselves are orange-yellow with amber tips, flimsy and rough.

In late summer it produces large amounts of tiny, black flowers with sickle shaped petals with a bell-shaped floral cup. They fall easily and have the faintest scent that smells like burning wood.
