Coppervine

This big vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 164 feet (50.0 meters) and growing as high as 82 feet (25.0 meters).

It takes 4 years for the copper stems to mature, by which point they have tangled themselves into thick mats with a diameter of 1.5 feet (46 cm) and are smooth and fuzzy.

The asymmetrical, soft leaves reach up to 10 inches (25 cm) in length. They are solid muted orange with brown lines, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the vine produces handfuls of giant lilac flowers, and during the late summer, after flowering, it produces a few large berries.
