Aquamarine Succulent

This modest-sized caudiciform grows up to 57 feet (17.4 meters) tall. The very thick stem is grey or aquamarine, and is covered in large amounts of rigid green spines. It has a crooked, very thick, light grey trunk atop a thick, gnarled tripod of knobbly, exposed roots. The branches are stumpy and beige and are short, rigid and upright.

The wavy-edged, needle-like leaves are slate with turquoise tips. They are resilient, and are very difficult to pull away.

It is steady-growing, taking 2 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with cyan petals that gradient shift to blue on the outer edge. The central disk is vibrant red grows at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is made up of many petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight sphere. It has a delicate scent that smells like paint.

The caudiciform's skin is rock-hard, the light grey flesh is sticky, and the black sap is thin.
