Coppergrass
Grass type: Biennial (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)This massive, brown grass grows up to 39 feet (11.9 meters) tall. The circular stalks grow in extensive patches that are strong and tough and they overwhelm an area rapidly.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, copper tuft.
During the early autumn, it produces very little pollen, and after flowering, it is left with lots of medium-sized grains.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
