Golden Crescent Moss

This orange-yellow moss is commonly found blanketing large areas In rainy mountain ranges, In marshes, and In bogs.
It is short, growing up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps and they are slow to spread and grow, and is extremely flimsy.
When mature, emerald crescent-shaped capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release dozens of spores.

It only grows on the most fertile lands.
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
It is almost impossible to grow from cuttings.
The grass is savoury and overwhelmingly non-toxic and while grains are spicy and overwhelmingly toxic.
