Emerald

This green moss is commonly found blanketing small areas In heathlands, On rotten logs, and In damp forests.
It is short, growing up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps and they overwhelm an area rapidly, and is overwhelmingly flimsy.
When mature, emerald kidney-shaped capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early winter to release dozens of spores; it can cause severe allergic reactions.
