Crimson Vine

This short vine is a quick growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 15 feet (4.6 meters) and growing as high as 260 feet (79.2 meters).

It takes 6 months for the pink-red stems to mature, by which point they often have a diameter of 1 cm (0.4 inches) and are rough and prickly.

The fan-like, smooth leaves reach up to 6 inches (15 cm) in length. They are either vibrant red or yellow, with violet patches, and have ripped edges.

During late spring, the vine produces lots of average blood red flowers, and during the early summer, after flowering, it produces lots of tiny fruits.
