Amberflower

This large flower grows up to 2.8 feet (84 cm) tall. Its yellow-green stem is thin and straight with a curved tip, and the large, green leaves are brown on the underside and are thick with rounded edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.

A single large flower sits at the end of the stem. The flowers are 31 cm (12.2 inches) wide, with petals that are silver on the edges and amber at the center. The flower head is made up of several petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight sphere. They are sturdy.

It has a faint scent that smells like onion, and it has lots of pollen, but it does not cause any allergic reactions. It is a self-pollinator, but is also visited by one species of insect in particular.
