Coppervine

This small creeper is a very fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 19 feet (5.8 meters) and growing as high as 160 feet (48.8 meters).

It takes 6 months for the copper stems to mature, by which point they can reach a diameter of 2 cm (0.8 inches) and are flat and wavy.

The very narrow and elongated, waxy leaves reach up to 5 inches (13 cm) in length. They are red at the bottom and light grey with gold zig-zags at the top, and have tattered edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces many average cream flowers, and during the late autumn, after flowering, it produces lots of large fruits.
