Bloodvine

This average-sized bine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 50 feet (15.2 meters) and growing as high as 373 feet (113.7 meters).

It takes 2 years for the gray-green stems to mature, by which point they can have a diameter of 3 inches (8 cm) and are rough and fibrous.

The 6 pointed, clammy leaves reach up to 1.2 feet (36 cm) in length. They are caramel with blood red tips, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the bine produces lots of average red flowers, and during the early summer, after flowering, it produces a handful of small seed pods.
