Copperhazel Vine

This colossal bine is a slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 2,374 feet (723.6 meters) and growing as high as 750 feet (228.6 meters).

It takes 15 years for the burgundy stems to mature, by which point they often have a diameter of 4.1 feet (1.2 meters) and are smooth and woody.

The perforated, soft leaves reach up to 1.6 feet (48 cm) in length. They are found in copper and hazel varieties, and have jagged edges.
