Silvervine
Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This short bine is a fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 19 feet (5.8 meters) and growing as high as 718 feet (218.8 meters).
It takes 3 months for the silver stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 1 cm (0.4 inches) and are rough and woody.
The circular, soft leaves reach up to 2 inches (5 cm) in length. They are dark brown with light grey tips, and have smooth edges.
During late spring, the bine produces large amounts of large brown flowers.
The leaves and petals are often used to make tea.
