Gray Moss

This gray moss is commonly found growing in large clumps In bogs, and In marshes.
It is average-sized, growing up to 4 inches (10 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches, and is slightly frail.
When mature, emerald crescent-shaped capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early autumn to release dozens of spores.
