Silvergrass

Grass type: Perennial (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This average-sized, silver grass grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall. The needle-like stalks grow in thick clumps that are flimsy and they spread and grow quickly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, florescent yellow flower.

During the mid-summer, it produces a fair amount of pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with plenty of large grains.

The sap is edible and overwhelmingly salty.
It can flourish even in standing water.
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
