Bloodvine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This small vine is a very fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 19 feet (5.8 meters) and growing as high as 41 feet (12.5 meters).

It takes 4 months for the yellow-green stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 2 cm (0.8 inches) and are rough and prickly.

The very narrow and elongated, sticky leaves reach up to 4 inches (10 cm) in length. They are either blue, or blood red with lilac edges, and have wavy edges.

During late spring, the vine produces a handful of average yellow flowers, and during the late autumn, after flowering, it produces a few tiny seed pods.

It can grow in even the most barren lands.
It is said to be able to live for hundreds of years.
The sap is edible and extremely sour.
It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
