Orangeflare

This colossal caudiciform grows up to 26 feet (7.9 meters) tall. The sickle shaped stem is deep orange or sky blue, and is covered in brittle muted red spines. The straight, olive trunk can grow to as much as 26 feet (7.9 meters) in diameter in the middle. Its deep orange or sky blue branches are tall, rigid and upright and start growing at the top the stem.

The handfuls of smooth-edged, stiff, pointed leaves are orange and grey. They are flimsy, but do not detach easily.

It is quick growing, taking 7 months to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a single flower with petals that are turquoise in the center, dark brown in the middle and violet at the edges grows at the top, reappearing after 2 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is made up of 9 petals in raised layers. It has a strong scent that smells like vomit.

The caudiciform's skin is delicate, the sky blue flesh is rubbery, and the green sap is thin.
