Burgundy Creeper

This short creeper is a very fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 23 feet (7.0 meters)0.

It takes 3 months for the burgundy stems to mature, by which point they have tangled themselves into thick mats with a diameter of 2 cm (0.8 inches) and are thick and twisted.

The asymmetrical, clammy leaves reach up to 5 inches (13 cm) in length. They are orange on the sides and green at the center, and have serrated edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces lots of average ashy purple flowers, and during the late summer, after flowering, it produces a handful of small berries.
