Crimson Moss

This drab red moss is commonly found growing in small clumps In rainy mountain ranges.
It is colossal, growing up to 1.0 foot (30 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches and they are exceptionally hardy, and is extremely flimsy.
When mature, emerald V-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early autumn to release millions of spores.
