Pink Pine

This big shrub grows up to 6 feet (1.8 meters) tall and lives for around 61 years. It is not very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has dozens of sturdy, straight stems covered in smooth, brown bark, and the wood inside is pine-coloured.

The branches are long and slender that and are covered with copious amounts of miniature, oblong, leaves with jagged edges. The leaves themselves are generally pink, sturdy and crispy.

It produces hundreds of small, brown flowers with 9 V-shaped shaped petals. They are sturdy and have a weak scent that smells like roses. In midwinter it forms tinycaramel, winged seeds that float and land far away.
