Burgundy Vine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This small vine is a fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 15 feet (4.6 meters) and growing as high as 120 feet (36.6 meters).

It takes 10 months for the burgundy stems to mature, by which point they can have a diameter of 2 cm (0.8 inches) and are tough and woody.

The very narrow and elongated, smooth leaves reach up to 6 inches (15 cm) in length. They are lilac and florescent green, and have jagged edges.

During late spring, the vine produces copious amounts of small dark grey flowers, and during the mid-summer, after flowering, it produces excessive amounts of large berries.

It absorbs an exceptionally large amount of water each day.
It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
