Ambervine

Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This small bine is a fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 20 feet (6.1 meters) and growing as high as 79 feet (24.1 meters).

It takes 11 months for the orange stems to mature, by which point they often have a diameter of 1 cm (0.4 inches) and are smooth and slick.

The very thin, crispy leaves reach up to 3 inches (8 cm) in length. They are either dark red or amber, with green zig-zags, and have rounded edges.

During late spring, the bine produces clusters of giant green flowers.
