Brownstem Grass

This short, brown grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The thin stalks grow in thick clumps that are durable.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, yellow flower.

During the mid-summer, it produces lots of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with copious amounts of medium-sized grains.
