Blue Succulent

Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)

This big leaf succulent grows up to 101 feet (30.8 meters) tall. The wide stem is gray, and is covered in sharp spines. The serrated-edged, broad, flat leaves are found in peach and cyan varieties. Very large amounts of them grow from the base in random directions. The leaves are tough, but easily come away when pulled.

It is fast growing, taking 4 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with solid deep blue petals and a violet central disk, grow at the top, reappearing once every 3 years. The flower head is made up of handfuls of petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight cup. It has a delicate scent that smells like apple.

The leaf succulent's skin is rock-hard, the grey flesh is rough, and the blue sap is thin.
