Aquamarine

This large shrub grows up to 8 feet (2.4 meters) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 155 years old. It is susceptible to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has numerous branched, twisting stems covered in very thick, smooth, brown and grey bark, and the wood inside is gray.

The branches are short, rigid and upright with dozens of twigs that and are covered with small bunches of miniature, very narrow and elongated, leaves with toothed edges. The leaves themselves are found in peach and cyan varieties, light and rough.

It produces dozens of large, aquamarine flowers with 4 pointed petals. They are hardy and have an intense scent that smells like meat. In late autumn it forms smallblack, winged seeds that spin and fall nearby.
