Blueflexia

This average-sized flower grows up to 8 inches (20 cm) tall. Its green stem is thin, and the tiny, gray or yellow leaves are perforated with tattered edges. The leaves grow in pairs along the length of the stem.

4 to 7 giant flowers grow on alternate sides up the length of the stem. The flowers are 17 cm (6.7 inches) wide, with solid deep blue petals and a violet central disk. The flower head is largely flat with 15 raised narrow petals. They are very delicate.

It has a scent whose strength depends on external factors, such as soil quality and rain frequency that smells like skunk spray, and it has very little pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions. It is a self-pollinator, but is enjoyed by several specific types of insect.
